Method

  1. 1Coat chicken with turmeric, chilli powder and salt; rest ten minutes.
  2. 2Heat oil on a tawa and sear the chicken until browned, then set aside.
  3. 3In the same pan saute chopped onions until translucent.
  4. 4Add ginger-garlic paste and slit green chillies, cooking briefly.
  5. 5Toss in diced capsicum and tomatoes over high heat.
  6. 6Return the chicken and sprinkle in crushed pepper and garam masala.
  7. 7Stir-fry until the chicken is cooked and the masala is nearly dry.
  8. 8Finish with lemon juice and coriander before serving.
