Method

  1. 1Boil 2 eggs for 9 minutes, peel and halve.
  2. 2Heat oil and saute sliced onion until soft, then add ginger-garlic paste.
  3. 3Add turmeric, chilli powder, garam masala and salt; cook to a thick dry masala and cool.
  4. 4Roll out the thawed puff pastry and cut into four squares.
  5. 5Place a spoon of masala and an egg half in the centre of each square.
  6. 6Fold the pastry over to enclose, seal the edges and press with a fork.
  7. 7Brush the tops with milk for a glossy bake.
  8. 8Bake at 200C for 20-25 minutes until puffed and deep golden.
  9. 9Cool slightly and serve warm.
