Method

  1. 1Dry-roast the thin poha in a pan on low heat until crisp, then set aside.
  2. 2Heat oil and fry the peanuts until golden, then remove.
  3. 3Fry the split roasted gram and cashews briefly in the same oil.
  4. 4Crackle mustard seeds, curry leaves and green chilli in the oil.
  5. 5Add turmeric, then return peanuts and fried gram.
  6. 6Tip in the crisp poha with sugar and salt and toss gently.
  7. 7Cool completely and store airtight to keep it crunchy.
