Method

  1. 1Soak soya granules in hot water for 10 minutes, then squeeze dry.
  2. 2Knead flour with oil, salt and water; rest, then roll into thin rotis.
  3. 3Cook rotis on a hot tawa with a little oil until soft and spotted.
  4. 4Heat oil and fry chopped onion until golden, then add ginger-garlic paste.
  5. 5Add tomato, chilli powder, frankie masala and salt; cook to a thick masala.
  6. 6Stir in the soya granules and cook 8 minutes until dry and flavourful.
  7. 7Spread green chutney on each roti and spoon the soya filling along one side.
  8. 8Top with sliced onion and lemon, roll tight and serve warm.
